The Baja rooms are equipped with every comfort. The small terrace overlooks the sea with a view of the bay of Santa Caterina di Pittinuri. All rooms have a double bed or twin beds and in some a third bed can be added. Classic rooms are equipped with every comfort. They overlook the garden or the inner courtyard. Some of the Classic rooms have a queen-size bed. The Panoramic rooms are equipped with every comfort. The small terrace overlooks the sea with a panoramic view of the entire bay and the Tower of Santa Caterina di Pittinuri, which stands on the promontory to the north. All rooms have a double bed or twin beds and in some a third bed can be added. The Family room is made up of two rooms connected by an internal door. It is ideal for families or groups of friends who wish to share their holiday without giving up their privacy. The Family rooms have two small terraces overlooking the sea with a view of the entire bay or the Tower of Santa Caterina di Pittinuri, which stands on the promontory to the north. All rooms have two double beds or twin beds and a single bed can be added for the 5th person.
Restaurant
The menus of the Hotel La Baja arise from the choice of ingredients produced in the Montiferru area and in the province of Oristano. The remote location of this part of Sardinia preserves a rich tradition of dishes which at the La Baja restaurant are offered both in the original recipes and with slight and unique reinterpretations. The area is rich in very fresh fish which finds ample space on the menu such as the quality meat produced in this area and obviously the first courses with the typical fresh pasta. The typically Italian and Mediterranean cuisine accompanies the regional dishes always accompanied by top quality vegetables and fruit. The La Baja Restaurant overlooks the swimming pool and at breakfast, lunch or dinner it therefore enjoys a pleasant and relaxing environment, with an enchanting view and always airy thanks to the sea breeze.
Location
For those wishing to explore the surroundings, the Montiferru area is rich in environments and ecosystems that vary from marine to mountainous, such as the fascinating historic village of Santu Lussurgiu and the renowned beach of S’Archittu, with its characteristic ivory-coloured rock in the shape of an arch, carved by the sea and the wind. A few dozen kilometres away is the Sinis Peninsula, home to a protected natural area, and the ancient city of Tharros, founded by the Phoenicians in the 8th century B.C. near a Bronze Age nuragic village.
