The Hotel Firenze e Continentale is the ideal destination for those wishing to enjoy the treasures that lie in the famous 'limitrofe' area of the Italy. Lerici boasts winding streets in a charming historic city centre that spirals up to the stunning medieval castle on it's peak. San Terenzo, was the residence of choice of the Poet Percy Bysshe Shelley his wife Mary, with it's glorious beaches and it's castle. Tellaro boasts one of the most stunning village squares in all of Italy with the enchanting Church of San Giorgio that meets the coastline, its charming gatehouse and stunning pathways and tracks that lead to the less populated beaches and breathtaking cliffs. On the opposite coast of the Gulf lies Porto Venere, so named from the latin "Portus Veneris" due to the beauty of the location, with its particular brightly coloured houses that seem yo cascade down the cliffs towards the Isola Palmaria, an area that has recently been made a protected nature reserve. Dominating all of this is the charming San Pietro Church that looks over the sea towards the Park of the Cinque Terre, Rimmaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso.
