Previous guests of this lovely little hotel located in the historic centre, just 5 minutes from the train station and Duomo, have praised its cleanliness, friendly staff and lovely rooms. All the elegant bedrooms are furnished in a typical Florentine style, with fine details including wrought iron beds. Set in the San Lorenzo district (the oldest part of Florence), this intimate, family-run hotel also has visible elements of ancient brickwork and wooden ceilings. For Florentines this district means 2 things: market and Medici. The city's biggest open market is located here and it was also home to the powerful Medici family who shaped much of the history of Florence. The other important sights of the city and the business district are also within easy walking distance.
