Raffaele Conforti, Amalfi Coast wealthy lemon farmer, was born in Maiori in 1837. As the cultivation of lemons, the main economic activity of the place, he intensifies the production to become among the largest exporter of Italy. His residence, finished in the first half dell'800, boasts a splendid hall and nine rooms with frescoes by famous school of Castaioli, bearing reasons unique: Rooms so in the Muse angels welcome you to beautiful women in the room dancing and Turkish odalische Arabs reasons. The furniture of the century, were directly commissioned by Raffaele Conforti, as the intervening correspondence with the famous cabinet-maker Siano Vietri, attentive to the particular needs of each room, so you can now breathe again the love and care for ancient objects, although it was, this dwelling, renovated to provide it with all the modern comforts, including a whirlpool tub with concealed between the splendid frescoes in the suite Filomena Reale. The quite, elegance and relaxation then you can expect to live and relive the past, in the splendid setting of the Amalfi Coast.
Rooms
The rooms, with wall painting, are equipped with ancients fornitures and antique pieces. All rooms are large with private facilities, battub or shower, a/c, hairdryer, minibar, telephone, tv colour, radio and terrace.
