Recommended for short break

Basic but spotless. friendly staff. ideally located on promenade front equal distance to beaches (tourists hotels) one way and harbour/old town the other way.
limited facilities - could do with making more of the bar area.

Having a laugh

The hotel is tired and in need of attention. a list of things wrong included a cracked sink/unattached plug/ broken light socket with room for little fingers and a shutter that opened only after i used a nail clipper to free it after asking to have it fixed 3 stars it aint.

Room with a view

The best thing about this hotel is location....well positioned across the road from the beach and within 10 mins walk to the old town centre. rooms are clean and basic (they need to invest in some dressing tables with draw space and ditch the old fashioned table and tablecloth idea) we were given room 3 at the back of the hotel which was dark and dingy....they told us that this was the superior room that is allocated to hotelclick customers! we insisted on moving to a room with a view and they wanted 30 euros per night extra.... we asked to see other superior rooms to compare and they quickly moved us to a similar but brighter room at the front at no extra cost.

Our opinion

The staff were very friendly and helpfull but spoke very little english, so brush up on basic italian as they appreciate it if you try.the hotel is in a good position to walk to the old town, about a twenty minute stroll.we were disappointed with the size of the rooms as they are quite small and basic and are in need of an update, especially the bathroom.saying this we could not fault the cleanliness.breakfast is basic but plenty of it.

Not the best

We were 2 families. family one consisted of 2 adults 1 child. family 2 consisted to 2 adults 4 children under the age of 5. on our last day we had to pay the full room rate to keep a room on until 4.30pm so that the children could be changed for travel. this was an unnecessary added expense to have use of a room for half an hour. not particularly family friendly!

Holiday

Good location across from beach and walking distance to old town. rooms where basic as was breakfast but overall was clean and the staff where friendly. good price and ideal for a short stay.
