The restaurant and breakfast rooms are characterised both by their large windows and the splendid panorama of the bay, creating a scene of unparalleled beauty during summer .
Exterior
A soft green lawn precedes direct access to our private beach, part of the most beautiful beach of both Alghero and the Coral Riviera: the renowned Bombarde beach. Water sport equipment can be hired on the beach enabling you to practice your sport of choice, while it is also possible to receive windsurfing and sailing lessons from our staff. A small gymnasium is available for use by our guests equipped directly in front of the beach and a park excursion. Internet access is available upon request at our Internet point in the hall and our synthetic tennis court can be booked day and night. Starting this coming summer season the Hotel dei Pini offers new facilities as an well-being angle with personalised treatments and massages. Mountain bikes and cars are available to rent, offering the chance to discover the fascinating inland territory of Sardinia with its rich traditions and history. We also offer a shuttle service to the charming centre of Alghero twice a day from June to September. Within the vicinity of the hotel it’s possible to go horse riding, water skiing or take a boat excursion. The fortunate position of the hotel, allows you to easily reach in just a few minutes the deep sea surrounding Capo Caccia and Punto Giglio, where one finds a large concentration of excellent diving locations, submerged caves and many cliffs on the sea. The diving in these caves is unique and extraordinarily beautiful: red coral can be seen in only 4 metres depth of water and one can easily encounter lobster, grouper and moray eels. If you would like to experience the sea at close quarters we have a special collaboration with the Diving Centre of Capo Galera, which is situated a few minutes from the Hotel. Our Activity Team will be delighted to entertain you with a series of shows, live music, sport and recreation activities from June to September. Parents can entrust their children (from 3 -12 years inclusive) to our Mini-Club, a place where they can meet and play with many other children under the watchful eye of our attentive staff. It is also available a Baby Sitting Service on request.
Rooms
Our hospitality is available in 94 rooms (double, triple and quadruple), 1 junior suite and 4 suite, recently renovated and redecorated with furniture of warm tones. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, terrace, air conditioning, telephone line, SKY TV, minibar and safe. Every room has a sea or park view and as such it’s possible to enjoy the fantastic natural scenery into which the hotel is gracefully integrated.
Restaurant
The simplicity of our cooking and the utilization of local products are the essential ingredients in the kitchen of the Hotel dei Pini. Our chefs will be delighted to let you taste the traditional dishes of Sardinia and the in house specialities in which the flavours of Sardinia are wisely mixed with those of traditional Alghero and Italian cooking. Our wine cellar boasts the best wines of the area and of Sardinia, which now number among the best wines of Italy and of the world. Buffet breakfast is served in the breakfast room or, on our splendid veranda, where you can enjoy the view of the 17th century Spanish Tower of Lazzaretto and Capo Galera. The lunch and the dinner are served in our panoramic restaurant. During your stay our chefs will organize special typical dinners made up of the best dishes of the Catalan and Sardinian tradition.
Location
Alghero is situated in the north west of Sardinia, in the centre of the western basin of the Mediterranean Sea, in an area of high geographical and historical value. The coastline that runs from Capo dell’Argentiera, in the north, to Torre Poglina, in the south, is also called the Coral Riviera, and is one of the most beautiful of the island. The Hotel dei Pini is situated in an ideal position, in the heart of the Coral Riviera, a few kilometres from Alghero.
