Location
The hotel derives its name from the Irish 'ard oilean' (high island), a picturesque island on nearby Lough Corrib. It stands in extensive grounds convenient to the city and its seaside suburb, Salthill. The location is also convenient to the main trunk routes from all major cities, airports and ferryports. Galway Airport is 15 minutes away.
