The morgan is a cute, boutique hotel right smack dab in the middle of temple bar. the rooms are small but adequate. the bathrooms are upgraded and spacious. however, the couple we were traveling with had an issue with their shower leaking through the adjoining wall and onto their belongings in the wardrobe. breakfast was abundant and tasty with a full irish breakfast buffet but also the opportunity to order a fresh meal from an a la carte menu. the biggest downfalls of the hotel were the lack of air con in the rooms. this forced you to open the windows and the street noise from temple bar then flooded the rooms. luckly, the beds are super comfortable and we were exhausting from full days of sightseeing/eating/drinking that we were able to fall asleep without a problem.

Had a lovely chilled weekend break for my 40th birthday.
great location - everything was within easy walking distance. nice restaurants and bars, and we were surrounded with a good choice of shops.
breakfast was very nice in a very relaxed atmosphere.
rooms were very comfortable and clean.
i would definately use this hotel again

Reception-good, staff tried hard, but took until thursday to find a package that they had signed for on tuesday, admittedly there was no name on it but i had been asking for it from tuesday and they said they had been looking!
breakfast-our only meal taken at the hotel. it appears there are insufficient trained staff. they do not clean tables and prepare them for new customers, so when you enter you have to stand. when they do prepare them they do not replenish items like milk jugs, jam pots, plates cutlery.a businesswoman said she could not finish her meal due to serving delays as she was making herself late for a meeting.out of four tables polled by the lady next to us all four said they were disappointed in the morgan.
the toaster had a control knob broken off it and probably still has.
the food put out was good, unfortunately the poor service spoilt the meal.if you are seated below a speaker forget conversation.
temple bar is noisy, as we expected, but i had expected air conditioning in the room. the choice was heat or noise. when | complained i was offered a fan.instead i chose to upgrade at e30 per night to an aircon room at the back, which was what i would have expected for the prices charged.
room cleaning acceptable.
disco noise from the hotel was complained of by another family, who said they were asking for a refund.
