I have stayed here many times over the years when it was the berekely hotel it is my favourite dublin hotel, and it ticks all the boxes with its elegance service and staff, the only chink in its perfection is the fact that they now charge 7euro for wifi ,a service which is free in cafes and even on buses nowdays, its not the price it just seems so cras in such a premium hotel, they need to incorporate the charge into the services in some way, other than this glich i would recommend anyone to stay here ,its part of dublin.

The d4 hotel is and excellant comfrotable hotel in an excellant location close to many restaurant/bars/city centre and of coure the aviva stadium.
i have satyed here on numerous occasions over the past number of years.
the staff are very caring and freindly.
in particular an accident i had in aug 11th of this year where i fell and broke my nose outside a chineserestraurant close by, the staff were exceptionally caring and protective. they showed more care and attention to me than that was shown by the restaurant, who didn't care at all.
this hotel i would highly reccommend.
just one complaint, i don't like the quilts on the beds, i would prefer sheets and blankets.. (but never asked!!)

We got a great deal for this hotel and stayed over for the bruce springsteen gig. my only grip was that the supplies in the room were really bad there was only 2 tea bags so more had to be requested (we're tea drinkers ;-0 ). there was also no shower cap (one was requested with the tea and never arrived) so it was a job trying to keep hair dry in the shower.
breakfast was nice but not quite buffet as you are served from the hot plate and we got funny looks for requesting more than one of any item. the brown bread, which was beside the toaster, was as hard as the hobs of hell - i'm lucky i didn't break a tooth on it.
check out a little early if you can as the hotel was full and we were waiting a while (but really didn't mind). staff were lovely and very helpful. if we needed to we could have left the car all day which i thought was great.
parking, by the way, was 10.50euro.
as i said, we got a great deal and would consider again if going to a gig in the rds.

Having stayed in this hotel before when it was known as the berkley court, it was little disapointing to find that the standard of service had declined quiet a bit. being a local girl i knew this hotel when it was being built, so things are just not the same anymore. however the location you just cannot beat!
