Rooms
Rooms at the The Mont Hotel are well appointed in warm shades of burgundy and deep mahogany woods. Facilities include plasma TV screens, individual temperature controls and wired broadband. Some of the guest bedrooms overlook Dublin's famous Merrion Square with its beautiful Georgian doors. On the weekends local artists sell their work around the square. A number of rooms also overlook the National Art Gallery which is well worth a visit on a Dublin trip.
Restaurant
The No. 1 boasts one of the most traditional Irish pubs of all hotels in Ireland. It has a cosy old world ambience with leather upholstery, a long wooden bar and polished glass. Head Chef Terry has worked with O'Callaghan Hotels for over 20 years and is famed for his traditional fare. The daily midweek carvery is a favourite in the capital where good food is served in large quantities. This really is a perfect spot to unwind over a pint of Guinness.Goldsmith's Restaurant: The restaurant has a charming Irish tearoom ambience. Overlooking Merrion Square with large bay windows the restaurant can accommodate 100 people for private dining.
