The hotel is a part of the City Palace Complex which was built in the early 20th century during the reign of Maharana Fateh Singhji.

The hotel presently comprises 7 Suites and 10 Regular Rooms making it one of the most exclusive Palace Resorts in India. Each suite is tastefully decorated in a traditional style with antique furniture and fixtures. They contain original potraits and furniture which have been in the family for generations.
Restaurant
The restaurant, which is situated in an unrivalled location overlooking Lake Pichola, serves an exclusive continental menu and has a wide choice of wines. English cream teas are also served here every afternoon, including different varieties of tea and traditional home made scones and biscuits.
