The lobby like the rest of the hotel is chic, modern and stylish, a great example of Icelandic contemporary interior design.

Exterior

Half of this hotel is quite an old building by Reykjavik standards while the other half is brand new, blending together beautifully with an attractive white facade.

Rooms

The rooms vary in size, with a few that are large. All rooms are non-smoking. Designed by a Los Angeles based Icelandic interior designer, Gulla J nsd ttir, they are decorated with stylish state-of-the-art furniture and predominantly black and white colour schemes, though many of the rooms and notably the bathrooms have bare rendered walls. Some of the rooms on the top floor have characterful sloping ceilings and dormer windows. They are in exceptional conditions as are the funky modern bathrooms.

Restaurant

Enjoy a meal at the restaurant, or stay in and take advantage of the hotel's room service (during limited hours). Wrap up your day with a drink at the bar/lounge. Buffet breakfasts are available daily from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM for a fee.
