Posada Belen was slowly transformed from a colonial style home into a very special inn. High recommended in most important travel guides and by former guests/friends, over 300 authentic registered Mayan artifacts on display as well as unique antique handicrafts plus many primitive paintings make Posada Belen a true Museum, but most of all we are a clean, safe, centrally located, quiet moderately price with good beds, great food, friendly relaxed atmosphere, and authentic HOME to start, end or organize your journey in Guatemala.

Locations:
Posada is located in a fine colonial style home built in 1873 converted into an intimate Museum Inn, centrally located in a quiet street of the historical center of Guatemala City only 2.5 miles from the airport (10-15 Minutes).

Area Details:
We are conveniently located to visit any of the museums in Guatemala City, the relief map, national palace, central market, visit the preclasic Mayan ruins and museum of Kaminal Juyu, dozens of monumental churches, We are blocks away from the bus stations to Tikal, Xela, Antigua, Coban, Chiquimula, Rio Dulce, Etc. 

Recreations:
Summary of Hotel Service and Amenities include laundry service, Postal Office Service, Travel Library, Fax, Ethernet web link Available, and Computer and internet on site. We have available for Medical available by phone, Ambulance and paramedics and international phone calls. Room Service and Parking is also available. 

Rooms:
All spacious guestrooms include Safe Box in Rooms, Private bathrooms w/hot shower, and fans in room. We provide to get guestroom to take water available 24 hours w/ purified ionized drinking water. There hotel don’t have NO TV in the rooms (so ALL can sleep). However, it will be nice to offer you to have a nice Romantic Candle lights atmosphere.
