Would give it a miss next time

We had a triple bed room booked and when we arrived we were told that they overbooked so we had to stay with 3 people in 2 single beds for the night. the next night they moved one of us into another room.
the gentleman on reception was lovely. there was also a female (i think his wife) who's manner was abrupt and rude. if you asked for any kind of help it was met with resentment. at one point they had a blazing argument in reception in front of guests.
when we sat for breakfast (you aren't given a choice of food, you recipe one boiled egg, rice pudding, a ham and cheese toastie and two pieces of bread) the lady scowled at us and made us feel so uncomfortable. simply for sitting down to eat.
the location is far out of town. you need to catch a taxi €7-9 or catch the bus €1.5. there is a supermarket close by high is handy and 2 restaurants. one traditional greek, one italian.
it isn't close to any beaches so you will either nee to cab, bus or hire a vehicle of some kind.
the pool is fantastic which i think is the main oositive i could draw from our stay.
as i said, the gentleman on reception was lovely and the pool was great but apart from that there is nothing else i could put forward as a positive about this hotel.
