Lobby
The reception area is small and unassuming, but gives on to a very large and sumptuous lobby, where guests can take tea and cakes in the afternoon.
Exterior
The hotel is a collection of several linked buildings, all in the same classical spa resort grand style. The exterior is painted in pastel colours. The entrance is in a small courtyard at the rear of the building facing the casino.
Rooms
The bedrooms are all different in size, shape and style reflecting the differences between the constituent buildings. But all rooms are large and in exceptional condition, as are the bathrooms.
Restaurant
The main restaurant is opulently furnished, with chandeliers adding the final touch of grandeur. There are excellent views of the spa park from the panoramic windows, which run the length of the room. Of more interest perhaps is the area where the breakfast is served. This is in the oldest part of the hotel, which was once a monastery.
