This hotel is situated directly opposite the entrance to the train station. It is built in a european style typical of the turn of the century. The reception desk is small but there is a seating area opposite where individuals and small groups can relax. The hotel underwent a complete renovation programme in 1989/90so all rooms have been refurbished to a high standard. There are three restaurants in the hotel. The "zirbelstube" offers French cuisine while the "tirolerstube" and the "weinkost" restaurant both serve regional specialities. The latter two have retained a feeling of a sense of the past following the renovation programme, as the stone floors, old windows and furniture have been preserved.
