Excellent short stay!

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing shot stay at this lovely hotel.

location:
first off, it is nice and easy to find - not only is it situated on a main road, but there is an illuminated sign on the street you can see from quite a distance.
the hotel is not really in walking distance from the major attractions, such as the notre dame, but there is a metro station mere minutes from the front door - and the trains are cheap and easy to use.

inside:
we picked hotel jules because of the warm feel we got from the website and pictures, and we weren't disappointed, with an arty foyer, professional reception and comfortable, clean rooms (and en suites), with the highest level of cleanliness and service - especially from the reception staff who were very helpful throughout our stay, despite the language barrier.

our only negative point was breakfast - it was nice but not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. maybe a few croissants at breakfast please! that being said, the staff were excellent.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will be coming back in future.

Paris stay

Enjoyed our stay in the hotel jules. the hotel, staff and bedroom (good size) were all very good. buffet breakfast also very good. we also enjoyed the location. plenty of shops, restaurants and close to metro. we would definately stay there again.

Nice reception area, tiny bedrooms

The reception area is very modern and cool and the staff were reasonably friendly - until check out time!! the rooms were tiny, i had booked 2 rooms one was a king deluxwe and one was a standard twin - the were both identical except for the 1mm space between the 2 single beds in the twin, although there was a cost difference of €100! all in all it was ok and quite handy for gard du nord but not great value and not sure id be rushing back. if you want a pre dinner cocktail they are good but take about 10 mins for each one to be made.
