Warm welcome

We were greeted with the friendliest receptionist living in paris, but originally from holland, who patiently listened to our attempts at french & helped with the many questions we threw at her throughout our stay.

the breakfast was simple; croissants or bread, juice & coffee/tea. the room could do with a bit of decorating but was warm & clean. i would advise a room away from the lifts/fire doors as they tend to be a little noisy (doors slam shut).

i'm a little surprised that it's 3-stars as we've stayed in a 3-star hotel nearby & the class/decor/breakfast was of a higher standard.

however, all in all, we got a good deal, and let's face it, the amount of time spent in the hotel is minimal compared to sight-seeing.
