This 3 star hotel is considered a superior tourist property. It is well located with welcoming staff. Renovation works have been completed on the 4th and 5th floors and they are now working on the 3rd floor and will then move on to the other floors one at a time. No completion date has been advised yet.
The hotel is located near the huge Gare du Nord Station which is the Eurostar station. It is a lively district where guests can find international restaurants and good public transport.

The lobby is medium in size and open plan to the seatting area where guests can have a seat on confortable sofas just in front the bar.
The hotel is built in a modern style, 5 storey building.
The rooms are medium in size and in good condition. The decor is simple and the atmosphere gives a quiet and calm impression.
Guests can have their breakfast in a lovely vaulted cellar which is separated in two parts (smoking/no smoking).
The Le Rocroy Hotel Paris Gare Du Nord offers the use of a TV in the rooms. Accommodation has direct dial telephone in all rooms. The hotel offers a wake up service for guests. The accommodation offers a radio service for its guests.

Our welcome was quite good. clean accomodation, good beds, clean bathroom and linen. the narrowness of the hallway was an interesting experience. of course space is at a premium in paris. the lift only fits 2 people and at the most 2 suitcases. smallest lift i've ever seen. breakfast was good, and interesting in the dungeon.
only 2 things let this hotel experience down.
1. water hammer noise kept us awake in the early hours of the morning. you could push up on the ceiling above the toilet to stop it, but you cannot sleep like that!
2. we were sold tickets for three by reception to a dinner cruise up and down the main river of paris and they didn't know who we were. worse still is we had to pay full fee on top of that for our child! not impressed! i don't recommend to anyone to do that cruise either. it was very rushed, no time for coffee thereafter either.
