Paris weekend

For a first visit to paris we were well pleased with the location, only a very short walk from the metro and in an ideal location to visit all the sites.
the room was very comfortable and cosy. the room was small, but we expected this after reading other reviews. so you need to be organised and not to have too high of an expectation. the service from the staff was very good and they were all very friendly and spoke excellant english. the decor of the breakfast room was to a high standard and offered a large buffet style selection of continental breakfast so you shouldn't go hungary. for the price and location you shouldn't be dissapointed with this hotel.

Our weekend in paris

Ideally located for our purposes. there were five of us in the party so we had two twin rooms and a single one. the hotel was very clean and quiet, despite its central position. reception staff were very pleasant, and the women who cleaned the rooms were very efficient and friendly. the hotel had a generally pleasant atmosphere.

A gem

Last week was my second time at the hotel duminy vendome, and my husband's first. on the previous occasion i was with my 84 year old mother. both trips were a great success, thanks mainly to two factors - the location of the hotel and the breakfasts. the double rooms are not exactly spacious but are well equipped, cosy (especially in december)and the beds are very comfortable. the staff, without exception, are delightful. the breakfast area is wonderful, matched by the quality and variety of food on offer and service, where required, is swift. all in all, this is a great hotel, especially given the price and location and i will definitely be back. i have already recommended it to others.
