A modern styled building built in the late sixties but with an emphasis on large areas of glass and expansive windows in the rooms to help remove the boundary with the nature and beachside environment outside.
Rooms
Rooms are quite dated but in a good condition, and designed with a number of items of iconic Danish furniture. The colour scheme is warm and nautical with blue and white combined with cherry wood, while the rooms offer all the facilities you would expect from a hotel owed by an international chain. The bathrooms are clean, nicely laid out and in a good condition.
Restaurant
Enjoy Modern European cuisine at Aqua, a beachfront restaurant where you can enjoy drinks at the bar/lounge, take in the ocean view, and even dine alfresco. Mingle with other guests at the complimentary reception, held daily. Buffet breakfasts are served on weekdays from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM and on weekends from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM for a fee.
Location
The hotel has a beautiful located surrounded by nature and overlooking the wonderful sand dunes and heathland of Grenaa beach. The town centre is a short walk away, where shops and a charming environment can be found, while nearby is Denmark's Shark Centre.
