Small lobby with a reception desk.
Traditional building.
Rooms are modern in design and comfortably appointed, all are quipped with individual climate control, hairdryer, coffee/tea-making facilities, work station, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, and radio.
Nice restaurant on the ground floor, modern in design.

A 2 minute walk straight across the small park outside the entrance of prague's main railway station, the chopin hotel is also within easy walking distance of wenceslas square (10 minutes) and the historic old town (15-20 minutes). it is excellent value: clean, well furnished rooms with working wifi and aircon. breakfast is included and is served from 7-10am as a buffet with a wide range of pastries, rolls, mueslis, fruit, cold meats etc + juices and coffees. i found reception helpful and efficient and i was able to store my bags after check-out on my final day until my actual departure from the city. highly recommended.

The hotel is just a few blocks from the main street. there are a few small convenience stores close by. currency exchange offices on the street offer the best rates. the hotel itself definitely needs improvements. the bed was too small for two people. the carpet in the room was dusty and had stains. the bathroom is very tiny. you can only hang 5 pieces of clothes in the room - not very convenient for families. the breakfast was very poor - their orange juice tasted like water and coffee was even worse. the reception people get all stressed out when they have more than 2 people needing help and then they just forget about you.

Excellent in almost every respect. clean convenient great breakfast and near all the things visitors want to see. staff very helpful. the only slighy problem was the air con the weather was warm and it was not possible to switch it to cooling mode as it was still considered winter so heating mode was selected centrally
