The quietest hotel i have ever stayed in!
The hotel is in a quiet side street, but within only a few minutes' walk to the city centre and all the major attractions; we had no need to use public transport at all, even to get across the river via charles bridge.
the hotel has had a very recent refurbishment (and a name change, which confused our taxi driver on arrival....it was previously called the bellagio). the refurbishment has been extremely well done, and the decor throughout is excellent. the room was beautiful, the bed very comfortable, and there was a mini-bar, a safe and tea/coffee making facilities. the lifts were very efficient and modern. the room was so quiet that we thought we were the only people staying in the hotel, until we got to the breakfast room, which was very busy each morning.
the breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice.
there was free internet access in the lobby, and the staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke good english.
there is an excellent restaurant next door (don't be put off by the name "my darling clementine", or the western movie decor...it serves great czech food), and another small bar/restaurant "cafe u filu" at the end of the street.
