General
The building, with its stunning colonial style, was constructed in 1836 and was the former residence of renowned families and wealthy businessmen. After its reopening in 1885, the hotel adapted its comfort standards to the tastes and preferences of the American and European markets and became one of the most famous hotels in the capital. With the splendour of the past, the hotel returns to life in Old Havana, captivating tourists with its charm and architectural beauty. Its elegant design and personal service have made it into a pearl of Havana, and on offer are a total of 25 rooms, of which four are junior suites, spread across two floors. Amongst the hotel's facilities count a foyer with 24-hour reception, a safe, a cloakroom, a currency exchange facility, and a lift. In addition, guests are able to take advantage of the two cafes, a selection of shops, a bar, a restaurant with highchairs available for children, a public Internet connection (charges apply), room and laundry services, a kids' club, and, for those arriving by car, parking spaces.

It is a high rise building very historical and preserves the old decor. The architecture is typical of downtown. It's a magnificent building built of colonial appearance at the beginning of the XIX century.

The rooms varies in size, from medium to large, in a good condition and so are the bathrooms.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor and serves local and international cuisine.

The hotel is located just a few meters from the Army Square, on a central corner at O bispo Street, surrounded by shopping centers, art galleries and attractive museums.
