Lobby
The design of the renovated Katarino SPA Hotel is created by the famous Bulgarian art designer Maria Stoeva. It impresses with harmony among volume, shapes and natural materials used in the construction of the complex, as the minimalist style and sophisticated elegance are its trademark. In its main part, the complex has 139 luxury rooms and suites, and within the boundaries of the hotel region there are family houses, which consist of 17 comfortable suites with two bedrooms. The Katarino SPA guests can enjoy culinary temptations in the classic restaurant and in the tavern with a wine and appetizer meat selections – its own production. The complex has a cozy lobby bar, vitamin bar, pool bar, modern SPA & Wellness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools with extensive green areas, which have sun loungers, a children's club and outdoor playgrounds, conference center, a tennis court, a bowling alley, a quiet games room, a clothing and accessories store, a grocery store, ATM. The complex also has its own charging station for electric vehicles with a capacity of 22 kW, which is unique in the region.
Exterior
Katarino Spa is a favorite place for a family vacation. For the little guests they have built two new playgrounds in the open. They are equipped with swings, slides, seesaws, feather ball grounds, football and other amusing games. During the cold days they offer to kids the indoor kids club. There they can enjoy their time spent with an animator, many hours spent in fun and games and numerous attractions: secured dry pool filled with colourful balls, painting tables, a slide, kids kitchen and cooking appliances, air hockey, darts, arcade games and a hall for quiet games. They provide an outdoor warm swimming pool, separated from the main one, which gives the kids and their parents all the comfort they want. For the little guests of the Spa Centre they offer kids massages with special bio oils. The restaurants have special and attractive kids menu which is up to the highest standards of healthy and diverse nutrition. Especially for the families with kids, according to the specific season, they can offer different attractive programmes in sports, arts and getting familiar with the nature.
Rooms
There are 116 rooms and 23 suites in the luxury hotel complex. They are located in the main hotel building and offer comfort and amenities ranging from 30 to 45 sq.m. For larger families, there is the possibility of connecting adjacent double rooms with ergonomic furniture and terraces with a comfortable relaxation area. For guests who prefer more privacy, Katarino SPA Hotel offers accommodation in 17 comfortable two-bedroom suites of 83 sq.m. in family houses (villas), located within the complex, about 200 meters away from the main hotel building.
Restaurant
Katarino SPA Hotel is the place where you will find the genuine and real taste of natural products. They are produced in its farms located in the ecologically clean regions of Rupite, Kresna and Predela. Meat, gourmet appetizers, sausages, milk, butter, honey, aromatic mountain tea, home-made pasta and bread, own produced berries jam, craft beer and a quality selection of sparkling wines by master recipes - the food is selected to make you enjoy your senses and make you more vibrant and healthy. Katarino Complex offers a variety of delicious and healthy meals. The wonderful Katarino restaurant has a capacity of 180 seats, separated in 2 halls, a buffet and show cooking for an exceptional, delicious and varied breakfast and dinner, and for lunch you can enjoy specialties from the Mediterranean cuisine with real food from its farms for a la menu cards. The spacious outdoor terrace overlooking the Pirin peaks is the preferred place to relax during the hot summer days. Katarino Tavern has a capacity of 90 seats with an authentic interior combining wood and stone, with an attractive fireplace, creating coziness for winter evenings. This is the place where you can pamper your senses with such a selection of high quality Bulgarian wines and delicious starters from its produce of the complex. The spacious lobby bar has a capacity of 90 seats and a panoramic outdoor terrace with a stunning view of Pirin Mountain – the perfect place to start an invigorating morning with something to drink or an afternoon relaxation. In the cozy lobby bar the guests can forget about their digital habits and indulge themselves into the good company of a fine book which could be found on the shelves of the carefully selected small library.
