Together with the local population and other organizations, the Juma Lodge sponsors a program to help conserve the environment of the surrounding areas. Its main conservation project involves providing financial support to restore the forest along the rivers bordering the lake where the lodge is located.Situated in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest, the eccentric Juma Lodge offers comfortable bungalows on the top of wooden columns overlooking the forest or the lake. The hotel is about 3 hours by boat (120 km) from Manaus and provides a wide range of ecotourism activities in the nearby, such as hiking, canoing, alligator and piranha fishing. You can also simply enjoy the sound of nature while lying on the hammock of your balcony. In addition to a dazzling view over the lake, the restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner with drinks included.
