The newest lodge in the Amazon region, opened December 2003, is a private initiative, managed by the Dutch outdoor company Tiwa. Tiwa Amazonas Ecoresort is situated just 10 km from Manaus, on the shores of the Rio Negro River. We offer 52 apartments, distributed over 26 bungalows, accommodation. All the entrances, porches and bathrooms are completely independent. All apartments have international standard box spring beds with mosquito-net, air conditioning, luxurious bathrooms with hot shower, high spacious rooms, 2nd floor for 3rd bed or two children, large balcony/outdoor veranda overseeing the lake. The apartments are built to hear natural sounds of the nature surrounding the resort. The hotel offers Facilities like Spacious, very open central building with 24 hour front desk, lounge, restaurant, bar, men and ladies bathroom. Second floor with private lunch /dinner lounge, TV room with satellite-TV, exposition area, convention rooms for up to 150 people. Separate souvenir/small convenience shop.
