You reach the house via an access road which crosses the Barranco de Mederos. Behind the house there is a vast pine forest on volcanic soil and the mountain Pico del Cabrito on the background. Surrounded by wonderfully pure air, you can enjoy these great views alone from the terraces of the house. At only 20 minutes is the center of Villa de Mazo, where you can visit the museum Red House (Museo Casa Roja) and the Crafts School of the island (Escuela Insular de Artesania), and buy typical local products at the small market of the town (Mercadillo municipal).
