The lodge takes its name from the aristocrat who introduced Royalty to the bush and whose style was impeccable. It was one man's dream of a genuine conservation-friendly, luxury, tented lodge, thoughtfully located alongside the wildilfewalkways.
The accommodation nestles at the foot of the Chyulu Hills, in 25 acres of unfenced land which is home to the lion, buffalo, elephant, giraffe and game. The animals come and go as they please as this is really their home, shared with the resident hipposand crocrodiles. The lodge is 50 minutes by air from Nairobi or Mombassa, into the air strip at Kampi Ya Simba and 65 kilometres from the nearest road in the very heart of the Tsavo National Park.
