Great vacation resort is slipping.

Everything at the resort is classy and eloquent. we have been going here for years. it is so relaxing and so much fun. however, this time the service was not as consistent as previous trips. they could not answer our simple questions at the check in counter or at the other information desk. on friday night they discouraged us from getting our bracelets for the pool area for saturday, but they did not give us a heads up that on saturday we would have to wait in a 45 minute line to get our bracelets; they made us wait in line with all the new quests checking instead of taking 2 minutes to issue us the bracelets. they rarely had towels at poolside during our entire stay and when we asked for more towels we got snotty attitudes, tell us to wait 30 minutes and sometimes the towels would never come. my solution was to go to the other pools to retrieve towels and never once did the staff offer to do this for us. getting drinks or food poolside was harder than pulling teeth. i don't like how young families with children are all over the resort; in my opinion this resort has always been geared toward couples. there are kids' pools but on our last stay the kids and their families consistently came over to the main pool and acted out of control and interfered with the enjoyment of ourselves and other guests. it just seems like the quality of this resort is slipping.

Great stay

I had a great stay at the rivera, but there were some área of improvement, it was our first time in palm springs celebrating our anniversary.. first at checkin the girl wasnt that friendly, she didnt asked if we were celebrating any special events and if this was our first time here. she could been more customer service. beside there customer service it was an overall great hotel, i recommend anyone just going to relax there.

Nice desert resort!

We reserved the mediterranean junior suite which had a nice layout with nice decor. the room was clean and stylish.
