Small rooms

We arrived with 2 suitcases and were allocated a very small room. we asked at the desk for something larger so we could open both cases in the room. we were told this was a normal room and after much insistence they showed us another room which was much the same size so we decided to stay. there seemed to be a large group of bikers who spent a lot of time in the carpark behind the hotel. i'm glad our room didn't face that way. not sure if they were guests?
there was no restaurant within walking distance (takeaways) so we used the car.
the hotel was relatively new and well kept. very convenient to jfk.
