Fontainebleau miami beach

This hotel was wonderful. the weather wasn't perfect when we arrived and the valet at the departures areas was a bit short with us. but once we got to the arrivals area, they were a lot nicer. however, for the rest of the stay, the departures valet was wonderful. the pool is fabulous and the beach area is pristine. i enjoyed the hotel and it was a well maintained property. the rooms are very nice and the view from the chateau room overlooking the pool was magnificent. staff is very friendly and the food at the onsite restaurants are really good. however, it can be a bit expensive. also, the valet per day is expensive. but i needed a car, so i had to pay for it. overall, it was a great experience. the only other issue i had was one day by the pool it was hard to get wait staff, but other than that, the property was wonderful.

Additional charges

Hotel was lovely albeit the sofa bed in our room had not been set up which was disappointing given we had travelled from the uk and had to wait a while for a grumpy housekeeping man to help.

also, we did not have any advance warning thatcher would be charged an additional $21.75 per night by way of 'hotel fee'!!! the clerk who checked us in rushed quickly through the list of rules if which this was one.

room was nice, lovely view and good facilities

Great hotel and resort. friendly and helpful staff. slightly away from the hustle and bustle / main strip, but very short taxi ride away and away from all the construction work. lovely pool area with numerous pools and jacuzzis. the hotel certainly has a wow factor.

Highly recommend!

Fantastic hotel, with great facilities and a super location. our room was a good size with views of the sea. pool area is lovely, and service from staff around the hotel was always helpful and friendly. it is expensive to buy food or drink at the hotel bar and restaurants, but if you're staying here, you're probably not on a tight budget. all in all, very good indeed.
