A large welcoming lobby awaits you; again the lobby is under a large conservatory roof giving a bright, spacious feel.
Exterior
The hotel is nestled in a courtyard garden setting. The hotel dates back to 1659, and the facade reflects this, although constant maintenance work is in place to keep the building in tact. Car parking is available at the rear of the hotel.
Rooms
All rooms are medium in size and are decorated in a variety of styles. The rooms are all in good condition as are the bathrooms. The rooms all have the following ameneties that one would expect, tea/ coffee making facilities etc.
Restaurant
The hotel has two restaurants, one is called Sawmill and the other is a large conservatory giving the room a big bright airy feeling. There is a variety of fine home cooking on offer. The restaurant overlooks the beautiful gardens in which the hotel is set.
