The hotel has had extensive refurbishments and has been brought up to a very high standard. The reception desk is small, although there is a large seating area, with large comfortable sofas and chairs, with open log fires and rich red wallpaper. There are large panaramic windows giving excellent views over the lake.
When you arrive at the Hotel you'd be forgiven for thinking this was a very ordinary property. It is not until you walk inside that you realise this is a very special Hotel. The building is traditional in style.
The bedrooms are of a medium size and are in good condition. They are decorated in light fabrics and furnishings and dark woods. Most of the rooms have stunning lake views.
The restaurant leads off from the lobby area and has a fantastic view of the lake. The Menu is an eclectic mix of British and european cuisine prepared by a top local chef. The restaurant is very grand and is decorated in a traditional style.
