This is the most luxurious hotel in Manchester. It has an excellent location and communication links. The health spa has 6 treatment rooms and separate relaxation areas offering the latest treatments. There is also a gym and sauna.
The hotel is part of the new Chapel Wharf Development on the banks of the River Irwell in the city centre. The hotel is located just off Deansgate, Manchester's principal shopping street, soon to boast branches of Selfridges and Harvey Nicholls.

The lobby is large, spacious and has an airy atrium with a high ceiling. A staircase leads from the lobby to the mezzanine and restaurant floor.

Exterior

The hotel's facade is ultra-modern in glass and steel. There is a pedestrian area at the entrance to the hotel complex at the base of the stunning Trinity Bridge which links the hotel to Deansgate.

Rooms

The rooms are the ultimate in 5-star luxury with all the technological additions you would expect of a hotel of this standard. The decor is contemporary and minimalist with neutral colours and a chaisse longue in each room.

Restaurant

The hotel's restaurant is Marco Pierre White's first venture outside of London. It has views over the River Irwell and offers a suprisingly good value menu, especially for Sunday lunch.

Birthday treat

So enjoyed our stay, it was a gift for our friends 60th birthdays and 40th wedding anniversary, rooms were so big a fantastic big bed, bar and cocktails were fab, reception staff so helpful, the concierge staff were perfect dinner and breakfast brilliant could not fault our stay.

Outstanding

Wonderfully service from welcoming staff; was able to check in early as hotel not too busy on the night we stayed. we got married here two years ago and have stayed a few times since - we always confirm how fabulous the hotel is every time we check in to the huge rooms which are extremely comfortable and noise free. breakfast was delicious.

A longed for night away

We stayed over, after a wonderful family wedding. my husband has an illness that prevents us from travelling abroad, and so this was a marvellous gift of a night away.

Manx in manchester

First class hotel with exceptional service. rack price would put hotel out of our price range but discounted rate from hotelsclick made our second stay in two years possible. we visited manchester to see the queen/paul rogers concert at the men arena and the hotel made it a perfect break. arrived before 11 and were able to access room early; although the hotel expects you to use minibar and room service (which are expensive) you can have a complimentary tea/coffee tray with kettle if you ask room service.
