London weekend

All was as expected really. great location, literally next door to mamma mia (which was why we picked it in the first place). bit of a stitch-up on the price maybe but hey ho this is as central london as central london gets, in the week before christmas so what else could we realistically expect?

bit of a mix up on the room not being ready in time, but no big deal and the reception staff handled it fine. we were in a family room on the top floor, which was really spacious with a bed the size of texas (really just 2 singles bolted together but you couldn't really tell without looking). a sofa bed for our little 'un too. room furnishings/decor maybe a little dated and 'lived in', but i imagine this is a really high traffic hotel so it will get well used.

breakfast was good, decent quality and good service.

all in all, very good stay and great to be in the heart of london at this time of the year.
