Disappointing

Slow check-in. receptionist tried to process a payment on my credit card for extras saying the money would be refunded if not used. breakfast a rip-off. lukewarm food and drink for £24! service at the bar was not great. the room was small and pretty basic. while it is very central, the price is exorbitant in relation to the room and service. i'd have done as well in a travelodge

Great location!

Great location very neat covent gardens. hotel was very large but it never felt that way. room was small but everything we needed for a comfortable stay. staff were friendly and accommodating. we ate in daawat which is attached to the hotel and the food was amazing.
very comprehensive breakfast buffet and not the wait i had expected at the busiest time.
a very pleasant stay and would definitely visit again.

Great location for theatres and sightseeing. staff were very friendly and helpful. breakfast had everything you could think of and evening carvery was tasty. king room was pleasant but only one comfy chair!

Fabulous stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit here and were very impressed with every aspect of our trip. the hotel is clean and beautiful and nicely equipped. the staff were friendly and were more than prepared to go the extra mile. breakfast, which was included in our rate was fabulous too. highly recommend.

This hotel is excellent in most ways. very expensive for what they offer, the rooms are small, very little wardrobe space & no drawers. ideal for a 1 or 2 night stay. forget breakfast, it was chaotic, much better places to eat on the strand.

Birthday treat

Stayed here at the strand for two nights. we had been before but our friends hadn't, they really enjoyed it. everything was really very good. staff were friendly ,rooms very clean. we also got upgraded to a kingsized bed. really near to covent garden, west end theatres, tube and the river was only a short walk away. would definitely stay here again. finished our weekend off with a lovely afternoon tea at the strand too.

A very nice stay

One of the nicest stays i have had in a long while, we were upgraded to an executive room which was massive and everything you could need, reception was great with a luggage room for early and late leaving, a very good tourist information dedicated person,

the location was great, you could walk to a lot of sights, a bus stop outside and the nice guy on the info counter will tell you what number bus to get

the only point i would drop it by is the sausages were awful at breakfast but that's the only negative on a very nice stay

Strand palace is perfectly situated for the perfect stay in london.
their club rooms are modern and well sized for a central london hotel.
the staff iare always most friendly and helpful.
i would certainly recommend strand palace to my friends.
