Britannia international 14th april 09

I would not have been happy had i paid full price for a room at this hotel. the shower temperature fluctuated between burning hot & cold basically never bearable!
i ordered breakfast in my room and they brought completely the wrong order even though my room number was written on the tray...so instead of toast & orange juice, i got grapefruit & ryvita. also when i poured out the tea the milk i had was off.

Hotel review

The hotel seemed a bit tired to me, the decor was dated and old fashioned. the air conditioning didn't work in the room so the room was quite cold. the bed was quite soft and squeaky.

Britannia international hotel in london

We stayed in the britannia international hotel in the canary wharf area of london. this hotel was impressive and very comfortable. canary wharf is a lovely clean area and has a great variety of local shopping - marks and spencer, next, waitrose and many more. the local restaurants were excellent. the only slight downside of our stay was the pizza restaurant within the hotel. don't try it!

Poor stay at the britannia

Hotel rooms were tatty and smelling of smoke. lock on door didn't work.there was no hot water on the 2nd morning. breakfast was poor for a 4 star hotel and the sevice we had from a trainee waitress was abrupt and rude. the reception staff were the only thing going for this hotel. i would not stay there again or recommend it to anyone else.

Britannia weekend stay

Very good room for a good (weekend) price, friendly and very helpfull staff. hotel very smart and celean yet relaxed. very good leisure area with pool, sauna, steam room etc, all easy to access and in excellent condition.
