Too hot for comfort.

I stayed in room 406 from nov. 18 to 22. even with the heating off and the window open, it was unbearably hot. the bathroom was like an oven. the room, for 2 adults, was far too small. there was no bar the first night, and on my third night, it was closed before 11.30.

Great value accommodation

This was my second stay at this hotel, and i was again very happy with it. the accommodation was clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and very helpful, the cooked breakfast was excellent, the cafe meals made no pretence of being cordon bleu but were very good for their purpose with freshly prepared salad to go with microwaved main courses, and the whole cost was very reasonable for so near the centre of london.
the toilet/shower room was small, and i see would be a problem for anyone seriously overweight, but for the average person that is a good trade-off for the cheapness. i have stayed in other places with more space but with other much more serious drawbacks.

Good location and price

Small but comfortable room (a single). friendly reception staff and overall good value. difficult to expect more for a hotel at this price in london, although my only real issue is that the shower didn't work very well - low flow of water and varying temperature.

For the price a very good base in a good location. pity about the cramped space in the room but clean, warm and friendly staff.
