Not at all close to anything!
I chose this hotel because it described itself as being 'located near the fashionable kings road... close to some of london's most popular visitor attractions including kensington palace, the natural history museum, victoria and albert museum and the royal concert hall'. in fact the nearest undergroud station is fulham broadway, from where it cost £3.40 in a taxi. next nearest is earls court, from which it cost £7 in a taxi. the hotel's in the middle of a building site and, if you don't know london and the area, you wouldn't want to walk back to it, hence the taxis. there is a bus to earls court (c3) which costs £2 each way, though you can use a travelcard on it but you can't buy your travelcard on the bus. so, if you go to jury's in chelsea be prepared either for long walks or for spending lots of money on transport to and from it.
