A breath-taking Elizabethan manor house, restored to very good order and maintaining many of the original features.
Rooms
All 24 Rooms are individually furnished, well appointed and in keeping with the historic atmosphere of the hotel. Some bedrooms have views over the gardens and lawns and the neighbouring village church. Many of the bedrooms feature the original beams and they all have tea/coffee making facilities, trouser press, television, radio, hair dryer, 24 hour room service, iron ironing board and en suite bathroom.
Restaurant
The Whitehall restaurant is on the ground floor overlooking the patio and walled garden - when weather permits it is possible to dine al fresco in the beautiful garden. The excellent dishes (all freshly prepared) are served in the magnificent surroundings of the 15th Century dining hall and the 3 Course Sunday Lunch is also very popular. There are also many small and cosy Lounges where you can have afternoon tea and snacks throughout the day.

Situated near to the village of Broxted, the hotel is less than three miles to Stansted International Airport and the M11 motorway.
