The lobby is large and very grand, which recently underwent a refurbishment. It has a ornate sweeping staircase leading up to the first floor, next to which is the tea room and the Ash bar.

This is a very large room with extremely high, ornate ceilings in line with the period of the building. The chefs prepare a fantastic Scottish breakfast and lunch and dinner menus offer both Scottish and international choices to cater for all tastes.
