The long sweeping drive leading to the hotel is shadowed by Canadian Redwood and Cooper Beech trees and lined rhododendrons. Known locally as the Jewel in the Forest, the building is breathtaking - mellow stone, Italian style ponds and ornamental gardens. Inside, there??;apos;s a cosy lounge and a range of elegant bedrooms. During the summer months an outdoor swimming pool and tennis courts are available. The award winning Armada Restaurant, named after the carving which graces the wall, offers superb cuisine and impressive wit.
