Built in 1876, The Birmingham Grand Moat House is a splendid Victorian hotel with 173 Bedrooms, Meeting Centre facilities accommodate between 2 and 500 delegates and there are two Restaurants - Chamberlain's Restaurant and Hugo's Bar and Brasserie.
The Hotel is located in the heart of Birmingham, directly opposite the cathedral and main shopping area. It is a five minute walk from New Street station.

The lobby is fairly small and could get fairly crowded at busy times. It has a small reception desk and a couple of seats.

The building is very traditional and elegant.

The rooms are medium and large in size and are en-suite. They have recently been refurbished and are in excellent condition, decorated in greens and blues. The bathrooms are particularly nice, some with marbled interior.

Restaurant

There are two restaurants in the Hotel; The Carvery, which is decorated in dark woods and rich red colours. Also Chamberlains, which is decorated in soft greens and has an A La Carte menu.
