Lobby
The original entrance to the Castle is the lobby area of the hotel.There is a large reception desk and armchairs in an impressive setting.
Exterior
The original part of this building dates back from 1625. It is therfore an historic building with beautiful gardens surrounding.
Rooms
The rooms are all individually decorated and contain all the facilities one would expect of an International hotel.There is a tiny old tower bedroom which many tourists visit and it is known as the ghost room. Lady Isobel Shaw is said to have thrown herself out, having been locked up by her cruel husband. All rooms renovated in 1999 or later.
Restaurant
The garden restaurant is beautifully appointed and overlooks the castle grounds. It offers both a la carte and table d'hote menus. The dungeon bar is situated in the cellars of the old fortress.
