We are delighted to announce that our lovely Moness House Hotel has opened its doors again after an extensive refurbishment programme. We would like to welcome back our existing customers and extend a warm welcome to new guests looking for a lovely relaxing stay with us here in Aberfeldy, Perthshire. The historic Hotel, originally a hunting lodge dating from 1758 re-opened on 1st November 2008 and care has been taken to ensure the Hotel has been refurbished to the standards required to meet Scottish Tourist Board 4 star grading. No two hotel rooms are identical, with differing views, room sizes, floor levels, ceiling heights and location. While all rooms are furnished to the highest standard, certain rooms are a bit more special than others.

Restaurant

Our Head Chef and his team create menus that are traditional and quite simple, offering an excellent choice of fresh meat, fish and game locally sourced from Perth and around Perthshire – the menu is changed daily so you can enjoy the very best spectrum of fresh and varied, yet stylish dishes, which is skilled, assured and great value for money. Our Restaurant has friendly staff on hand to attend to all your needs and assist in your wine and menu choice which offers a selection of appetisers, main courses and desserts. The bar also serves a fine selection of Malt Whiskies, and why not combine a coffee and a liqueur for a favourite after dinner treat? Breakfast is served daily, with a wide selection including fresh fruit platter, cereals and porridge. Whether you plan to explore the area or simply relax enjoy a full cooked Scottish breakfast prior to setting off. The Terrace Bar** offers a less formal setting with comfy leather sofas and bistro style furniture and is an ideal choice for a lighter or more informal meal. Family-friendly and welcoming, the bar also screens most important sporting events. The bar menu features a range of tasty snacks & meals as well as tea, coffee & refreshments. When the weather is fine enjoy a drink or dine al fresco on the outdoor Terrace. ** Seasonal opening Whether you are a romantic couple, a family getting-together or a group of friends looking to celebrate, dining at Moness has something to offer everyone. In order to avoid disappointment we recommend larger parties of 8 or more pre-book evening dining, with separate menus available for larger groups, please enquire at Resort. Special dietary needs can always be accommodated by prior arrangement.
