This is a very good hotel, well-located in a unique part of europe.
The hotel ferrum is located in the main square, right in the centre of Kiruna. The town is a major mining centre in the heart of Swedish lappland, and the hotel offers views out across the wilderness which surrounds Kiruna, as well as of the large open mine which dominates its economy. Works are taking place on the guest rooms one floor at a time, these will be completed at the beginning of September 2012.

Lobby is medium-sized, with plenty of seating. A corridor leads through to a very popular bar and steakhouse diner. From the middle of the lobby, a staircase leads up to another large bar Area and disco.

The hotel is a modern building, as is almost every other structure in the town.

Are modern and possess all necessary facilities. They Are of medium size and in good condition, as Are the bathrooms. There Are no touches of luxury, but they have a clean and smart appearance and Are well worthy of a good four-star status.
