Again, keeping with the water theme, waterways stream through the large reception area complimenting the wood and natural-toned decor.
Designed by the renown Sri Lankan architect, Geoffrey Bawa, the theme of the resort is centred around water. The low-rise property is surrounded by ponds, waterfalls and streams and features one of the largest swimming pools on the island.
Rooms are large with white linens, wooden fittings and terra cotta flooring. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning, satellite television, bath or shower, mini-bar and balcony or terrace overlooking the sea.
The main restaurant is large and overlooks the pool, while a second coffeeshop, open 24 hours, is also available.
