nestled in the heart of unawatuna, sri lanka, our hostel has been welcoming travelers since january 2023. what started as a dream back in 2017 has become a reality, crafted with dedication and heart. our founder, originally from palestine, saw potential in this two-story structure that had little more than a foundation. over the years, he transformed it into the vibrant four-story haven you see today, building much of it himself and carefully curating each detail from scratch. our hostel is more than just a place to stay — it’s a blend of cultures. the design reflects elements brought from the middle east, giving the space a unique charm that combines eastern tradition with a tropical vibe. our restaurant, located within the hostel, serves authentic arabic cuisine that has delighted hundreds of guests, adding a taste of home for some and a taste of adventure for others. from the architecture to the cuisine, every corner of our hostel tells a story of passion, resilience, and a vision brought to life across oceans. we invite you to be part of that story.
