Huge hotel near city centre
4 tower resort with huge pool, plus on site supermarket.
35-45c all day in late june is too hot to walk around sightseeing, but taxis reasonable price to city centre mall and to airport. 2-3 day stay is long enough to see enough.
hop on off bus grossly overpriced- use taxis.

Needs a major overhaul!
I stayed here for 5 nights in july with my husband and 14 night in august by myself. health and safety is non existent there so i would not advise taking young children. breakfast at the cherry berry is good and cheap, nice selection of food. the swimming pool has just opened after being up dated, but is far too hot, the staff tell you that it isn't temperature controlled but it is as the first week it was cold. staff don't really have a clue about anything! although they are polite. i booked the second week while i was there but found i was locked out of my room at 12.00, so this was another trip down 36 floors to sort out. i did have a lovely view of the corniche from my room. rooms are clean and the towels were changed twice a day and bottled water put in the room morning and night. bathrooms need up dating. room was very big and a/c was easy to control.
